Coming Q3 2026
Shopify reporting for agencies
The Shopify integration extends Kanvro's signup-attribution thesis to revenue. Same heatmap. Posts on the top axis, orders on the bottom. The metric your client actually asks about — “did the marketing produce sales?” — answered the same way it works for signups today.
What we'll pull
- Daily order count, gross merchandise value, and average order value.
- Customer lifecycle: new vs returning, cohort signal, churned-cart counts.
- UTM-tagged product conversions — the link from a specific Instagram post to the order placed two days later.
- Customer Journey Summary (Shopify's native attribution data) — surfaced in the dashboard alongside Kanvro's own attribution heatmap.
- Top-converting products by social channel.
Attribution model
Kanvro's signup attribution today is temporal correlation: posts on the top, signups on the bottom, lined up by date. Shopify will work the same way for the simple case (posts × orders), with an additional layer for the cases where Shopify gives us better data:
- UTM matching — when a campaign URL on Instagram lands on a Shopify product page with the UTM intact, we'll link them deterministically.
- customerJourneySummary — Shopify's own multi-touch attribution data, exposed via the Customer GraphQL API.
- Temporal fallback — for orders without UTM or journey data, we'll fall back to the same date-based correlation we use for signups today.
Why we're building it
SA agencies running e-commerce clients have the same problem agencies running SaaS clients had a year ago: the monthly report says “reach was up” and the client says “but did it make me money?” Signup attribution answers that question for SaaS. Order attribution answers it for e-commerce.
Several founding agencies have asked for this specifically. We're prioritising the Shopify build for Q3 2026 because the existing signup-attribution Cloud Function architecture extends cleanly — same daily sync, same lazy data layer, same AES-256 token encryption.
Tier availability
Shopify will be available on Ignite, Amplify, and Command at launch. Spark Free will not include Shopify (the Shopify Partner API has per-store rate limits that don't suit a free tier).
